"Samuraji (Samurai)" action announces the Grand Finale of “Shake up the Country” campaign (6th September 2006)

Youth Information Agency B&H (OIA BiH) and around 20 volunteers from Japan (Peaceboat Organisation) have organised a joint street project called Samuraji.

Japanese press has repeatedly written about the difficult position young people of this country are in, so the guests from Japan, as part of their three-month-long journey through the world,  decided to visit B&H and take part in the campaign of raising the awareness of young people about the importance of elections. The aim of all OIA activities related to elections is to encourage young people to vote. According to information Central Election Committee has and the number of ID cards issued by CIPS, there are 616 883 young voters in this country. They all need to be informed about the elections, which is why it is necessary to provide all the help and support needed.

Youth Information Agency used this occasion to publicly announce future activities which will lead to the GRAND FINALE of “Shake up the Country!” campaign.
