BHT1 and OIA start with the first TV youth activism laboratory (25th September 2006)
On 25th September 2006, OIA BiH and BHT1 have organised a closed-for-public premiere of the new Youth TV show called "Niđe veze" in the Television building. Designed as a dynamic and creative laboratory, workshop, the show has a special importance by being a good occasion for meeting and working together for a large number young people, youth organisations and academic institutions from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The show consists of promotion of demo bands from all parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, debates between youth organisation representatives, dancing contests, analyses of the latest topics related to youth population, giving practical pieces of advice and resources for their engagement in the society etc. What is especially important about this show is the engagement of a large number of young people: students of dramaturgy, acting, directing, fine arts, young activists from various various non-governmental organisations in B&H, everything monitored by professionals from the Television and the academies. Partners in the realisation of this show are: Alter Art Travnik, United Nations Population Fund, OIA’s “Active Young People” project supported by Olof Palme and Fonda Otvoreno društvo BiH (Open Society Fund B&H), Fondacija za kreativni razvoj (Creative Development Foundation), OSCE Human Rights Department, etc. The show will also have an interactive character since, on the web-site www.nidjeveze.ba the viewers will be able to post their comments to certain parts of the show, make their own suggestions.
"Niđe veze!", produced by Youth Information Agency B&H (OIA) and BHT1, in cooperation with Sarajevo Academy of Performing Arts, will be broadcasted every Monday at 10.30 pm (re-run on Sunday 10.30 am).
